Today ended, 16, the INPI Hack, the first hackaton (marathon of technological solutions), promoted by the INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property) with the objective of presenting solutions to improve the performance of the activities of the municipality. With 250 registrants from 21 states, the event was held in a digital environment and took place between April 5th and 12th. ABPI was represented on the jury by its president, Luiz Edgard Montaury Pimenta.
The first place went to “INPI na Palma da Mão”, by the GEF team, an application for payment of services by the Union Collection Guide (GRU) in a simpler way and directly integrated with payment methods. It also allows you to view the progress of the processes from the archives of the Industrial Property Magazine (RPI).
The Foxy team, which developed GRUPI, the application organizing the flow of patent applications, was placed second. In addition to making it possible to send petitions in batches, it allows integration with the IP office environment. The third place went to ePI, a program that automatically formats patent applications. Prepared by the Academic League of Intellectual Property at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), the solution also creates links to related information, which facilitates the exam.
The top ten teams won, among other awards, participation in the Pre-Acceleration Program, which will be conducted by professionals from Sebrae, SENAI / CIMATEC and INPI, with virtual meetings for four weeks to help teams create their own businesses from the solution developed at INPI Hack.
